Easy Bread At Home

Ingredients

  • 500 gms Bread Flour

  • 360 gm Water TAP

  • 2 gms Salt

  • 2 gms EVOO

  • 2 gm Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Active Dry Yeast

Directions

  • Mix flour, salt, yeast and sugar
  • Mix in Water to form the dough
  • Knead for 15 mins or till gluten develops
  • Add EVOO at the end and mix in the dough
  • After that keep it 6 to 12 hours at room temperature for bulk fermentation
  • Divide and shape into two Bread Loaves Boules
  • Let it proof for 1 hour
  • Pre heat the oven at 450F for 1 hour with a dutch oven inside. then take them out for loading. Ensure you are wearing Mits(for hand protection)
  • Gently transfer the loaves in a Dutch oven and Ensure you are wearing Mits(for hand protection)cover lid and bake for 40 mins
  • After that remove the cover (While wearing mits) and let bake for another 10 mins or till crust browns
  • After bake let it sit at room temperature for at-least a hour or so to cool down

Notes

  • This is a very easy no additives mix recipe that can be made with little to no advance planning. Just a day before you mix up all the ingredients make the dough and let rest overnight
